what to expect

We send out invites to our active members at least two weeks before an event. To RSVP:
1. Click on the link to the event in the email
2. Fill out the waitlist form
3. The first 10-20 members to RSVP will have 24 hours to remit payment and secure their spot.
4. After 24 hours, we offer the spot to the next member on our waitlist.
5. You can RSVP for up to 4 additional guests. All guests must be members, or apply for membership, before your RSVP is accepted. When RSVPing for guests, you agree to remit payment on behalf of all of the guests listed on your RSVP.
6. We curate for a balanced guest list to ensure harmonious vibes at our events. Single attendees, especially single men, may be waitlisted for certain parties. A tip? Bring a date or friend. It’s a fun way to guarantee your spot and add to the evening’s magic. Thanks for understanding!

While we strongly encourage all of our members to get regular STI screenings, we do not require proof of STI results to attend our parties. Members who provide results within one month of an event and have negative results for the following STIs: HIV 1/2, chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis, hepatitis B and C will receive a black wrist band for the event.
People with a white wristband may have opted out of sharing their results for a variety of reasons (e.g. they didn’t plan to play, they only plan to play with a fluid-bonded partner, their last tests fall outside of the one month requirement, they don’t wish to share their personal health information, they tested positive for one of the above STIs, or a bevy of other reasons). Your health is your business and we respect if you do not wish to share your private information with us.
Whether or not you’ve shared your results, if you choose to engage in play, it’s your responsibility to communicate to any potential partners when you were last tested and any known status, risks, or exposure.
To receive a black wristband, we do not require results for HSV 1 or 2 because, per the CDC, test results are not very accurate and often result in a false negative or positive. We strongly encourage you to know your status for HSV 1 and 2 and, if positive, share and discuss the risks with all potential partners before engaging in play.
There are so many risk-free ways to engage in pleasure at our events (massage, sensual touch, watching, good conversation etc). If you’re unsure of your status, we encourage you to err on the side of caution for the health and safety of yourself and our community.
To verify your results for an event and receive your black wristband, you can send an email to fwbsocialclub@gmail.com or text to 323.804.1207 before the event with a screenshot of your results with your full name and date, or share your results in person with our host when checking in.

We list the neighborhood on the event page and send out the event address, parking information, and entry instructions the day of the event to the phone number, telegram, and/or email associated with your membership. Per our ground rules, this information is not to be shared with anyone.

1. A host will be there to greet you when you arrive. They will check you in and, if it’s your first event, they will check your ID to verify your age.
2. You will receive a wristband with a number tag (white is the standard wristband color, and black is for people who have shared negative STI results from within a month of our event). This number will correspond to the coat check and bar. Do not take this wristband off at any point during the event.
3. The host will escort you inside the venue. Upon entering, you will remove your shoes and check in your belongings with our coat check.
4. They will ask you to remove your phone and place a sticker over the cameras. This is to ensure the privacy of our members. While phones are not allowed at events, we understand that sometimes things come up. If you need to check your phone at any point in the evening, you may do so by the coat check. Please refrain from phone calls at the event. Guests who repeatedly check their phone may be asked to leave the event.
5. If it’s your first time, the host will give you a tour of the space and briefly talk through expectations and ground rules.
-
After you’re checked in, we recommend heading to the bar for libations, water, and snacks. The hosts will be wandering around to help facilitate introductions, and don’t feel shy to say hello to other members. We have a variety of board games available to help break the ice.
Doors lock at the time designated on the event invite. People arriving late will not be permitted. For at least an hour after doors lock, we encourage our members to enjoy non-play social time and connect with one another.
-
We allow alcohol and cannabis at our events and expect our members to consume safely and in moderation.
We provide wine, some mixers, and a few options for beverages. If you wish to bring your own bottle and/or mixers, please leave it with the bartender upon check in. They will tag it with your number and make you a drink upon request. If you wish to share your alcohol with other members, you will need to be present for the bartender to share it with anyone else.

When we first started hosting 8 years ago, we described our events as “networking parties with an optional orgy at the end.” FWB is a no pressure environment. There are zero requirements or expectations to participate in play time.
Play time can begin an hour after the door locks. We will dim the lights and open up the play area for you to explore if and when you feel inspired.
Many of our members are exhibitionists and enjoy being watched. Feel free to hang out in the play area if you just want to experience as a voyeur. If you haven’t already, please review our ground rules for consent best practices.
We provide barriers, including condoms, dental dams, and finger condoms, lube, wipes, and more for you to use during play time.
After you’re finished playing, there are body wipes and towels for you to freshen up. Showering at the venue is not permitted.
While we don’t allow play in the social area, we do allow various levels of undress after play time starts. Expect that you might see people in their birthday suits.

We may start to wind down events when there are fewer than 10 people remaining. We will slowly start to turn up lights 30 min prior to ending the event. Please don’t overstay your welcome. Clean up after yourself.
When you’re ready, return your wristband and retrieve your personal items from coat check.
Please be respectful of the neighbors and be quiet in the hallway when you’re leaving.
Be aware of your surroundings when you exit the building. Please contact us with any security concerns.

Be kind to yourself. Rest, rehydrate, and reminisce. Expect a survey post event. We welcome your feedback.
If you need help processing anything, please reach out to our team over text or telegram and we will do our best to support you in getting the resources you need.
